MPS Contributes to Neighbor Ride

In August of 2018, MPS consultants selected Neighbor Ride, a Howard County based nonprofit, to receive a $500 contribution. The mission of Neighbor Ride is to enhance the health and quality of life for seniors by providing affordable, volunteer-based supplemental transportation.

According to their values, every senior should enjoy the benefits of being connected to people, services, and activities that add meaning and value to their lives. The community benefits when individuals of all ages are able to play active and productive roles. Last year Neighbor Ride provided 16,974 rides to Howard County seniors due to the generosity of their fabulous volunteers.

“Caring for our older loved ones is an important facet of our community,” notes Carl Crampton of MPS, who nominated Neighbor Ride for the  contribution of the month. At MPS, where our core value is a commitment to public service, we are happy to highlight and support the work of Neighbor Ride, which provides an invaluable service to the community.
